Glad they tried to reduce the thickness bending down the caps. Seems it will be quit the same form factor as Bluebird M1.- randy183

Obscure Chinese DAPs
It seems easier for some to conceive and to assemble a DAP, than to make a pdf whith full specifications and operating manuel... I think it can't be used as DAC: on a similar product, they used a second USB dedicated port to support OTG.- randy183

Obscure Chinese DAPs
So stupid.... They don't claim selling some U3 grad microSD for 4k video lighting speed transfering. They simply sell music players whith dedicated memory storage. A 256GB microSD is sold for around 40/45$ everywhere on the net (even whith the Samsung brand), and the player is sold for 17$ in...- randy183

The Ruizu X02 DAP thread
I bought the IQQ X11 dap (badged yohoolyo) which seems be based on the exact same hardware and firmwire of the Ruizu X02 exepted a largest case and a bigger QVGA screen. Even the manual user show an X02. Same awkward 2-3s press on the down button +L/R to change volume settings.- randy183

New- Zishan Z1 DSD player thread
Interestingly, the DSD player (the Zishan player whith screen) had a firmware updated whith 180 EQ settings too. So we could guess they used the same file in the Z1. http://electronics.forumsee.com/a/m/s/p12-37981-0583276--the-zishan-dsd-s-corner.html Something I find interesting about the EQ...- randy183

New- Zishan Z1 DSD player thread
Thanks for your reply. I think i'll wait a bit to know more about the Z2s sound signature as i'm not against warm voices. I'm referring to james-O-hifi post too, who seems not so pleased whith the stock Z1. I also red we have to untag all the files, but it's not hard to do. When you use your Z1...- randy183

New- Zishan Z1 DSD player thread
Hi, I just discovered this amazing forum, and I'm interested in Zishan/ Walnut players. I hope my english will be correct enough (I'm french). I've red most of the Z1 and V2 topics, but I still a bit confused about how it works. So this is what i understood: - if you connect the line out (or...- randy183
