So far through researching I know of only two DACs that are 1) nonoversampling and 2) accept up to 96khz sample rates thru USB - even if the DAC truncates to 16-18 bits, higher sample rates are still accepted (and maybe someone can confirm that I'm right about this for the Havana)... Red Wine...

these i think are aimed at the pro audio market, rather than the hi fi market ~ what do you think about these? also, as a related note, why does there seem to be a separation at all between "pro audio" and "hi fi"? (besides the obvious)

can someone tell me why i prefer the sound of the little dot micro to the headroom total airhead (with crossfeed)? this is very perplexing! i had gotten the airhead as an upgrade, or so i thought. but then i found myself preferring the sound of the little dot!
