Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I’m using O2 and it’s plenty enough for DT, I used Meridian Explorer2 DAC with it and I was very satisfied with that combination, now I’m using Astell&Kern AK70 in DAC function and results are great because it’s smooth sounding which DT favors very much.- CycleMotion

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I asked similar question few days back and I was willing to make compromise and buy DT1770 but after listening to them I was disappointed, V shape sound, 1990 is more rafined and neutral somehow. I tried again Audeze Sine and was blown away by sound, closed portable were my terms and I’m very...- CycleMotion

It's diffeerent, IMs are rounded, bassy, relaxed and midrange oriented while 1TD are clearer woth better top end and bass is not so heavy, similar to MSR7.- CycleMotion

I have MSR7 two weeks, great value headphones, my first serious pair of headphones were Sony MDR-1A, still have it of course, Sony's are much more comfortable and lighter but MSR7 are much better quality built with more metal and more premium looks. For casual listening Sony's are great...- CycleMotion
