NEW!!! YinLuMei W0 5" Windows 10 Player
That's what I said, the key is already known by the device itself. It needs to connect to a server to activate, probably the manufacturers server from where they've loaded a licensed windows version on the player. Google the error code, several things to try.- Fra D

NEW!!! YinLuMei W0 5" Windows 10 Player
My laptop has a win10 key stored in it's uefi bios, does not come with a key anymore, a key on the casing or with a cd/dvd with the version, yes. But manufacturers installing win10 enterprise ltsc often think differently and bind it to their specific hardware. Several ways to retrieve it though...- Fra D

mikejazz, just to be sure, this device has internet access, right? Because it seems the key although partially hidden, is already known by the device?- Fra D

Obscure Chinese DAPs
@vas-tomsk, Hard to find, even the company contact page is not working, you have to contact by facebook or by linkedin, maybe r&d manager Theodore Fu. How are your findings on the H05 so far?- Fra D

Onkyo DP-S1 Rubato / Pioneer XDP-30R Private
What a bummer, I hope your fio does better in the long run. I'm still using a cheap china bar-shaped player connected to my car's stereo, plays about any format up to 25 hours on a charge, even has radio and Bluetooth. At not even $20...- Fra D

Onkyo DP-S1 Rubato / Pioneer XDP-30R Private
Less than 200 hours of use and maybe closer to 100 hours, touchscreen stopped responding. I'm stuck in just 1 folder playing Liaisons Dangereuses' debut album. Using my Galaxy S9+ phone now and I don't think I will ever spend money on another dap.- Fra D

Onkyo DP-S1 Rubato / Pioneer XDP-30R Private
Works well here, I use an Oppo PM-3 without EQ because no setting improves sound, but the various pre-set EQ settings and extra bass makes a lot of difference for my Monolith M300 in-ears. Both planar magnetic phones btw. What are your other settings like gain, balanced/acg, is your line-out...- Fra D

The DP-S1 uses a 7 pin connector for the battery I guess, from the board shown down this page, http://www.tellementnomade.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=16736 The only battery I saw on Alibaba needs construction work...- Fra D

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
There's only 3.5mm sockets on the PM-3's, they can handle 3.5mm 3 contacts and 3.5mm 4 contacts on that same socket. The other end of the cable, if balanced and thus with 2.5mm and 4 contacts, is standard for balanced-output devices. When using a 3.5mm 3 contacts to 3.5mm 4 contacts cable, the 4...- Fra D

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
The 2.5mm connector is for balanced outputs. When buying a balanced 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable, you'll find both the 3.5mm and 2.5mm connector have 4 contacts, where 3.5mm to 3.5mm cables have 3 contacts on both connectors.- Fra D

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
I once emailed Oppo UK for PM-3 replacement pads, they sold me 2 pads when I said I could replace them myself. They were not on their product page then. Pretty expensive too. Paid more for the synthetics + postage than what the above leather ones cost.- Fra D

Monolith M300 In Ear Planar Earphones
Just got them, they are too small, the horse shoe fit (12.3mm) that is. It just flips off the pods right away, so don't buy these.- Fra D
