New from Woo Audio - WA7 Fireflies (3rd Gen)

well, good for you.You were lucky. I have gen 1 wa7, bought it brand new and I loved it. After one and a half year ( still under waranty I recall ) my pc did not recognized it. Checked on several pc. Checked several usb cables. The same issue. Asked the shop from where I've bought it. They told...

New from Woo Audio - WA7 Fireflies (3rd Gen)

I haven't seen such a cable yet. Just to usb A. But you can buy the adapter( is very cheap and I'm sure it can be found in every country) . Usb B is a port not in fashion nowdays. Most producers switched to usb c (I have a fiio bta30 pro that I use as a dac between pc and wa7 gen1 with a better...

New from Woo Audio - WA7 Fireflies (3rd Gen)

I don't think there is a way to have a bluetooth receiver into wa7 usb in and use it as a dac and an amplif. You can find a cable or an adapter that has ( I hope is the same in english ) an usb mother on one side and stick the bluetooth adapter in, but I don't think it will work ( please tell me...

New from Woo Audio - WA7 Fireflies (3rd Gen)

is still working as a dac your first gen? Mine, and several other users had dac issues with first gen, it is not recognized by pc. so, we use just the amp section with another dac in the chain. the dac itself was faulty, and woo asked 500 euro to replace it with second gen. after this experience...

The All-New WA7 Fireflies from Woo Audio

The store wasn't able to help. The motherboard of the dac is faulty.. Woo were non-cooperative, their answer was the same: sent it to us and for 500 euro we will replce the dac with 2nd gen. So, the only way to use it is just as an amplif and some other external dac.

The All-New WA7 Fireflies from Woo Audio

The local hi-fi store that sold me the wa7 find out about my problem reading a review that I've made and asked me to bring it for service. So, hope they will found the problem. And yes, I did put another dac inbetween, but I hope I will use wa7 as a combo again..

The All-New WA7 Fireflies from Woo Audio

Hallo again! I'm so happy today. After changing expensive usb cables, inspecting the device inside, testing device with other pc's with windows 10 (on windows 8.1 worked every time), I finally solved my problem. Wa7 was recognised by my win10 desktop pc with an old, cheap usb cable. I've...

The All-New WA7 Fireflies from Woo Audio

I have the same problem with wa7 first gen and for sure I won't buy any woo products again. The worst 1000 euro spent for me. Returning product for service to them is expensive and time costly. Upgrade to 2 nd gen is stupid. Probably will fail like first gen. Woo audio is not reliable. Just a...

Sennheiser HD 800S "pop sound" on left speaker

I've tested the headphones with just the pc soundcard and everything was normal. Something that I've noticed just today is that the headphones cable crossed over my mouse cable which is also fabric wrapped as the Sennheiser. I will do further testing without any interference. Hope that will...

Having a hard time finding the right headphones.

meze 99 classics are good ( never heard but have very good reviews). You may also try sennheiser momemtum 2 or akg k712pro (open, good for home use). I own both momentum 2 and akg 712 and use them for several years without having problems.  Both have a nice little bass, so, good for hip hop. I...

Sennheiser HD 800S "pop sound" on left speaker

Hallo,   I've bought a pair of new hd800s several days ago and listen to them since, almost 14 hours/day. I have noticed that everyday (after several hours) some pop sound occur (one or two pops, but just one at a time, and sometimes after several minutes or hours another one) only on  the...

Review by 'td2004' on item 'Hifiman EF2A Usb Headphone Amplifier'

Sorry if my english is not so good. I bought this several days ago  (200 euro) so I cannot post an opinion about durability.  I use this dac/amp just on  pc for everyday use: movies, voice, games, music, around 14-20 hours and I can say it's ok. Looks well built, not heavy and not really hot...
