Maybe from person to person but I use small comply tips and medium spinfit tips.

Thats what I am using now. Of all the ear tips I've tried these are the best. You'll want to get the cp-100.

Whats better about that one? I do like that the plugs are straight rather curved like in the old model. Like in picture attached I had to reverse my iems so they didn't always pop out of my ears. Other than that I am not seeing whats better about them.

Oh yeah. I love the sound. It will probably be couple years before I upgrade to something else.I would love to have few different iems and headphones, but its so expensive to do that! :tired_face:

I am thinking of returning this. I was expecting some sort of increase in SQ but I can't hear any difference at all. Should I have expected any increase in SQ with the xba 300? I was hoping to increase the Soundstage and get rid of distortions in the higher frequencies.

My first serious portable rig. Sony A25, Sony Xba-300ap with cable upgrade, and Cayin C5. I am beyond blown away at the sound quality. I seriously wish I got into this a lot sooner.

Okay I have everything set up but I am still able to control the volume from my a25 along with the amp itself. Doesn't that mean I am still using the internal amp in the a25? Shouldn't the Cayin 5 have bypassed it?
