    FiiO X3MKIII || Dual TI PCM5242 || Dual-mode Bluetooth 4.1 || Dual headphone outputs || Balanced Out || 192kHz/32bit

    I believe the lag issue is due to the processor which is too weak to load a larger cover art for example, it takes a second to load on the screen. I've updated to 2.0, no changes. Did you try the X1ii? That's basically an improved M3 from what I can tell, the matchbox like figure of the M3 is...

    FiiO X3MKIII || Dual TI PCM5242 || Dual-mode Bluetooth 4.1 || Dual headphone outputs || Balanced Out || 192kHz/32bit

    Well that's a shame, I thought it's something that makes it stand out. Oh well, I guess it's still an improvement in sound quality from what I had.

    Hey everyone, random question popping up here, I've had the Fiio M3 for a couple of years but it's getting laggy so I'm thinking about replacing it with the X3iii when it goes completely kaput, what I want to know is more about this balanced feature it has, is it supposed to make rock music...

    FiiO M3, Ultra-Portable|8G+64G|2.0" 320*240 TFT|50mW|FLAC/APE/AIFF|In line control|OGG, MP3, AAC, WMA |24 Hours|HiFi Earbuds

    the new X1 looks like a much better player, I would've bought that one if i waited a bit more, it has all the things the m3 lacks and a bit more with a reasonable increase in price.

    I'm also using it in my car (Audi also :D ) just fine. However, it's sort of difficult to change folder while driving because you have to stare at the screen the whole time, when you press "back" on the "now playing" screen it just takes you to the root folder, so you have to then navigate...

    Portable player + IEM <100euros recommendation (Fiio M3 + Sennheiser Precision?)

    Bought the m3 with the Sennheiser's, it's a really nice pair, both fit nice in the pouch the earbuds came with. The player is tiny, has a great battery, lasts me a week while using it a couple of hours a day, plays about everything I can throw at it. I'm not an audiophile so can't give good...

    Well they did release some upgrades to the firmware and they said there's more to come, honestly I'm very pleased with it so far, been using it for a week, battery is great, sound quality is better than my phone, plays lossless and it has plenty of memory. Didn't expect more of it at this price...

    This! Even just making the text bold would be great.   Also, where is the "rich set of themes" to "satisfy my aesthetics"?

    looking for a new portable mp3 player

    Well I'd recommend Philips Azure but it doesn't have the card slot you're asking for, the cheapest device that has those options is Sony A15 which is way over your budget. Maybe some more experienced posters could help you.

    Portable player + IEM <100euros recommendation (Fiio M3 + Sennheiser Precision?)

    Hello everyone, I'm looking to buy a portable player and a pair of earbuds in a budget of around 100euros ($120?), so far I've been looking around the forum and the best player suited for my needs (listening while biking, jogging etc.) would be Fiio M3, however, I'm not convinced the SQ would be...
