Does anyone know how responsive these are in the low, low bass range? 

Junior head-fier here :) Newly minted, 18 years old, heralding from New Zealand.   There's something about a pair of great sounding, beautifully sculpted headphones that really gets my heart racing (and my wallet draining).  

Can anyone offer an informed opinion on the various merits and weak points of these two DAC/Amp combos? I had done quite a bit of reading on the two, and both have excellent reviews. Would someone be able to give a direct A/B, who preferably has extensively used both?

This may seem slightly silly, but is there any harm in connecting a set of powered/wireless headphones (such as the Wireless Momentums, or Plantronics Backbeat Pro) to an amplifier? What actually happens?    Any help much appreciated.
