i hear popping sound from d1 plus all the time whenever i change tv channels or chanege sources very annoying. now i bought a emotiva xda-2 to replace it and put it in my 2nd system that i rarely use.

I was just told the NOS GE JAN 5670W tube I have on D2 (no green print) belongs to early productions probably made in 1960's and are better than the ones made in 1980's.

I bought a used D1+ with upgrades (made in 2015) and connected to the TV. however, it genrates noise whenever I change channels. My new D2 just arrived and it works just fine. Is the D1+ faulty?

I just received D2 with both upgrades. However I can't confirm I got the upgraded GE 5670 Jan tube. I took pics but I'm not allowed to upload. I don't see the green print of GE 5670 from the tube. I can't see print from the tube. Is it really GE 5670?
