hd595 doesn't need an amp... believe me. It's 50 ohms. i have a go-vibe and i can't tell a difference at all. It makes the sound a little warmer maybe. But you have to really listen to notice it. Not worth the money... I'll sell it to you

Yeah, in my case, the amp hardly makes a difference. That's probably cause my phones are low impedance. The only difference that I can tell, is that the headphones sound crystal clear at really high volumes. I can tell they're getting a lot of good power. The amp does color the sound a tad bit...

Do you know how long that will take and how much bandwidth it would consume to post all of those waveforms? No one's gonna want to waste their time doing that. I have around 2000 albums, no way I could hardly even get started on it.

We should make a foobar, winamp, or iTunes plugin to view the waveforms. That would make it much easier than opening something up in audacity and taking a screenshot, then uploading it. A waveform viewer plugin could be extended to submit it to a database with the click of a button. We would...

They are the absolute worst headphones I've ever heard.

I have to EQ the bass up a tad in the ~100hz range to get that "punch" I like in my music... otherwise, they are what people say they are... neutral. They sound good though, but not right out of the box. I just got my DAC and I'm enjoying that . I haven't gotten my amp yet, but it should be here...
