i'm not sure i can.....any pair of ear buds i've owned have ended up in the trash due to they hurt my ears.

So i left all my stuff at home day and am stuck listening to Pandora all day, and after listening to my X1/e11K on Grado's and Monk's...this is just painful.    Would a DAC work to make Pandora sound somewhat better?   If so..what's a cheap amp to run on my work laptop?  I'll most likely go...

I have Klipsch R6, Mee M6 Pro, and VE Monk in my travel case.   The klipsch don't get used, the M6 pro's generally only get used when i NEED isolation (mowing, plane, etc..), and the VE Monk's just hurt my ears.   My issue is that I LOVE the sound of hte Monk's...they sound awesome with my X1...

I LOVE IT   The same track on my phone vs on the X1....and then the X1 w/e11k is just unreal.    And that's still with cheap headphones

well i just bought an x1 and e11k amp....so i guess ill have to just see what sounds good with that combo

Honestly.........i think a list of places to try out different sets would help me more than anything.   My plan now is to skip the desktop stack and put more money into the headphones and then buy a portable amp to go along with my phone, for now....AND i'll prob swing for an X1
