Astell&Kern XB10 Extreme Bluetooth Adapter
I read from more sources that there is not audiable difference between headphones connected directly to the iphone or using the BTR1. But I read that XB10 makes audiable difference. BTR1 doesn't have AAC in comparison to XB10 so I'm not sure if this is the reason. With BTR1 I think iPhone use...- mellda

Astell&Kern XB10 Extreme Bluetooth Adapter
So there is big SQ diffference between E3 and XB10 using apt-x. Do you know anything about FiiO BTR1? It has apt-X as well. I listen music only from spotify. Not sure if there is big difference as well. I have Shure 1540 headphones.- mellda

Sony Z5 and external USB DAC/amp support
Last 2 notes: When I disconnect the Cozoy and connect and then tap on "Search USB devices", it detects the device all the time. No error message. The battery draining is really noticable. When I listen to music using Cozoy, I have only 6-8 hours.- mellda

Sony Z5 and external USB DAC/amp support
After a week of testing it, I still cannot hear any difference. So I visited a shop specialized on audio (lots of hearphones, aplifiers, hi-fi systems and so on). I tried Chord Mojo with my phone. No difference. I tried a big hifi system (for approx $3.000) and again no differenc. I used all the...- mellda

Android phones and USB DACs
I visited a local shop specialized on audio to try Chord Mojo with my Sony Z5 (Dual-Sim) yesterday. I couldn't hear any difference in sound quality. I tried it with Shure 1540 headphones. I use Tidal, Spotify, MP3 320kbps and some lossless flacs which gave me the shop assistant because he told...- mellda

Ok, I may have misunderstood it. It was from this discussion http://www.head-fi.org/t/789009/chord-mojo-vs-ifi-micro-idsd-vs-m9xx-optional-vs-audeze-deckard-lcd-3-or-sony-xba-z5. So do you mean there is no differenc as for Chord Mojo vs iFi micro iDSD?- mellda

Is Chord Mojo suitable for Shure 1540 or is it better to use iFi Micro iDSD? I have portable Cozoy Aegis but I can't hear any difference comparing Sony Z5 headphones output. And it really drains phone's battery. So I consider something with built-in battery. I read somewhere iFi Micro iDSD is...- mellda

Sony Z5 and external USB DAC/amp support
Ok, just arrived so here are my experiences. It works very well. But I have 2 problems: 1. The sound is clear. But when I stop the player I can hear a kind of cracking. I do not care if I can't hear it in music. Just listening some piano songs and no cracking :) 2. When I disconnect the...- mellda

But I do not want to have big device and carry about charging both of them. I dont listen hours a day. Only one, max two. I think I can live with that. But when I saw the solution with velcro I opened to this solution as wall. But I prefer the small device.- mellda

Thank you for the recommendation. New information for me that the amp is important equally or more than DAC. I thought that when the headphone volume from the smartphone is ok, no need to have extra amp. So I need DAC+amp in one device. I do not want two devices. And the FiiO E18 si too big for...- mellda
