Good luck. Timbre is slightly sweet with the DAC 200 in my system. Pretty accurate overall. I generally dislike A&S gear so I don’t know what you’ll get with the pairing.

The DAC 200 can give you a temperature measurement on the front panel. So there’s no guessing whether or not it’s operating within the recommended temperature range.

I didn't site smooth as a primary concern but timbre (Delta sigma never seems to get it right), tone, and decays. Somewhere in this thread, someone described the T+A as drier sounding than the May. I take this to mean truncated decays and that's a knock if natural sound is your criteria...

8-foot Art Cables RLS-24 cable for Sennheiser 580/600/650 etc. Like new. It is a clear upgrade over the stock Senn cable. I'm just not finding Sennheisers to be a match for my listening preferences so am selling the headphones and the cable.
