Defraging is commonly used on Desktop computers and helps the hdd clean it self... wonder if it helps in portable players?

Classical/pop/country arn't even heavy on the bass.... the thumping base on the UE would be wasted, and probably make your music unbalanced... I'd prefer ER4P (eytmotic) or E4G (Shure)

yea... footsteps arn't avoidable... and any internal noise coming from the body is unavoidable... you can hear your bone like click when you just move your jaws... you can't do anything about it unless you are completely stiff... eating with the IME is ver uncomfortable too... it's unavoidable...

I recently got the Shure E4G... it came with this 3.5mm volume control thingy... I was wondering what you call that thing? and where can I buy something similar?? it's male 3.5mm on one hand, and 3.5mm female on the other (connects to the hadphone).

Shure E4c/g, Etymotic ER4s are good alternative to super fi. 5. those 2 all have less bass than the Super fi.5

I consider low bit-rate =<128kbps. At about 192kbps+ on mp3, the difference is very subtle, almost unnoticeable to me... but some Audio guru probably have different opinion... and I am interested to know which level of mp3 compression is best of the 2 world size/sound.

I have in ear headphones (ER6s)... and the cable noise when I am walking is just drives me crazy.. are there any accessory that I can buy that give me better cable management to reduce the cable noise? or some other in ear headphones that come with this function (UE, Shure, or other ER...)
