well one review said it was and some reviews said no. I'm waiting on someone who has both um3x and the new um pro 30s that can do a thorough review and comparison.

I don't think he was comparing them to the w line at least not the whole line. He was just giving his impressions of the new um pro line.

Did you let the 30s burn in or are you going off out of the box sound. I know mine sounded different after 50 hrs. I'd like to know what your thoughts are after they are properly burned in.

The um pro 30s plastic is the same matriel as the old ums so I pretty sure the w series should be at least the same quality or better material as the old w series. I think worse case scenario is both the new lines sound the same just with  minor cosmetic changes.

I can't compare the um pro 30s to um3x but I agree that I enjoy the 4r overall when it comes to pretty much any genre of music.

Swan m200mkii around $300 would be a good choice but audioengine a5s are probably just as good. I went to guitar center today and they have a buy one get one half off on the krk rokits. So rp6g2 are around $300 for a pair and less for the rp5g2. I would go with the rp6g2 if you go to guitar center.

do you guys use super glue or is there something almost as good but easier to take off.

ms1 as its not as bright as grado sr60 unless you like bright headphones. Plus you can later mod it into a ms1000.

I have the m50s and for $100 they have great bass but most important great overall balance.

I have the m50 they are great all around cans but I mainly use my alessandro ms1 for rock. I just got some distancers and my grado g-cush should be arriving soon so I will see if I can use them as my all around cans in the future.

Well I just ordered some shure olives but I think Im going to order the tx-100 to compare them too.

I have Jamo C407, C400 Cen and C400 Surrounds. They are incredible speakers. I havent heard the C401 but Im pretty sure they are quite good little speakers also. I would go to forum.blu-ray.com theres a jamo section you can guys there for a review.

The RC10's can be found for under $350 on vanns.  

Energy RC10 would be my vote. Under $600 and pretty good bass extension for bookshelfs.

what other foam tips can you compare these to like the shure foam tips or comply p tips.

I have the Swans M200mkiii and they are amazing. I tried out some KRK Rokit 6s and they were pretty good also but I still prefer my swans.
