thanks, but im hooking a turntable to the amplifier, so replacing the amplifier is a bit hard at the moment. i bet there's a nice budget chinese Tube-based DAC out there, or a headphone amp with a function to bypass the headphone jack and make it a straight DAC ?- roosteratomic

Hi Guys, first post here. the DAC im using today is Muse PCM2704 and i want to upgrade it and enter the Tube "world" on a tight budget. it's connected to a Vintage amplifier (Pioneer SA-7300). (Computer->DAC->Amplifier) no need for the headphone input, though its nice to have. ...- roosteratomic
