Also, is there any way to merge internal storage with the "nand flash"? Separating internal space this way is kinda bad, since some apps can only be installed into internal storage, which has less than 1GB.

It happens with the storage of Spotify's offline playlists/songs to the onboard memory and the SD card. I even have to relog to spotify every time I turn my device off.

Guys, I need help. I've been using the beta firmware and since I updated there is a major problem with SPOTIFY: - Every time I reboot or turn off my X7 all my downloaded songs disappear. I've tried changing the storage from SD to internal SD and internal storage, but this issue seems...

Tried that too, got a grip for a while but it stripped again. The screw seems really over tightened.

Sad news: Just got the AM5 and was trying to replace the AM1. The screws just wouldn't go off and as I applied a little bit more pressure (and believe me when I say a LITTLE, I babysit this DAP) the screw ended up stripping. They seemed way over tightened and now I can't remove the AM1!! What...

Brooko, would you recommend the AM5 over the AM2 for IEMs too?

EarSonics Velvet universal custom in ear monitor with three sound tuning options

Linum BAX is definitely better than the stock cable. But, for my taste, both sound thin. I sense a lost in sound stage and although bass sounds punchier and with an overall faster response, it lacks mid and upper bass. I've tested other cables and the ones I like the most with Velvets are...

I think linum BAX Yes, spinfit tips are probably the best bet for Velvet when it comes to SQ, but not for isolation. About Linum BAX, I think it makes Velvet's sound too "thin" (Tweaked in balanced mode). My cable of choice is the Whiplash Twag V3 Silver.

Just got my Fiio X7.  Kudos to Dimitri from musicaacoustics.com. Shipping only took 5 days from Japan to Brazil and his customer service is really nice. (Price seems to be better than retail too) The only problem I've been having with my X7 is that I just can't use it as a DAC since...

Got my Fiio X7 a couple days ago and yes I can say they pair very well. Compared to the Ibasso DX90 I feel the Fiio is more midcentric, which made Velvet's signature more natural.

I don't know if I am breaking rules or not, but I just got a X7 for $598 at www.musicaacoustics.com For anyone willing to get a unit, it seems like a good deal (and I live in Brazil).

Has anyone tried the Velvets with Fiio X7? Just got my Fiio X7 and I'm pretty curious about this pairing. For anyone interested on getting the x7, musicaacoustics is selling what seems to be their last unit for $598.

Hello, Yobster69. I live in Brazil, so I won't be able to help you when it comes to the store.  About the price, I think it was something like $150 (not sure about the conversion), but it was quite cheap (importing would be at least twice as much). Had to provide plugs tho. The best way to...

EarSonics Velvet universal custom in ear monitor with three sound tuning options

Just got a pure silver cable from a local manufacturer to go with my Velvet and I have to say: what a improvement. I've NEVER believed in the cable hype, mainly due to the reason that I haven't experienced any difference (in SQ) when cable rolling all my gear (full size or IEM).  But with...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

I haven't tried Havi so far, but I've heard that they need a good source to really shine. Maybe that's what happened? What source did you use?  As someone that is used to some pricier IEM's (Earsonics Velvet, Shure SE846, JH Roxanne, etc) and full size cans (Q701, Philips X2, Sennheiser HD800...

FiiO E07K ANDES Review and Help Thread

@hEddy, you can also try to turn the E17k on first and then pkug it to your note 2. Or even try to unplug and plug right after when you get that kind of sound. Happens to me sometimes and re-plugging usually solves the problem (keep the e17k on).

FiiO E07K ANDES Review and Help Thread

Hi, I've been using the E07K with my LG G2 thought an OTG cable. The sound seems much better then when I'm using a regular 3.5mm (which would be caused by the fiio's DAC?). The problem is that de Fiio is draining too much battery of my cellphone. Is there a way to solve this? I couldn't find...
