    Recommend jazz music for novice

Maynard Ferguson!!! try Birdland first, that's probably my favorite song from his band, i listen to him almost every day. Chase is my second favorite, every song they make is excellent, then probably Weather Report.

    Drum oriented music

I just listen to older music, I'd say Rush is the most drum oriented band I listen to, next is probably Led Zeppelin.

[Discussion] How does 60's-70's music still holdup? open to all opinions

I agree, I dont think any music now or in the future will come close to the best songs of the 60s or 70s, still can't decide if I'd rather 60's or 70's, kinda stuck in between both

Your 5 newest CDs (or LPs)

got a box set of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, it had 5 CDs in it, a few weeks ago. Every song on that "original album classics" was great, but my favorites are Little Wing, the Sky is Crying, Voodoo Chile, and Texas Flood. fantastic band, well worth the $15 i spent

    Lennon or McCartney?

I listen to the Beatles sometimes, not my favorite band, but definitely top 10. I've listened to some of the individual members's songs, and I can say McCartney had more songs that I enjoyed, so I'd go with McCartney based on just that.

Any albums where you love EVERY song

I agree with Rush 2112, can't say the same about the others, because I don't listen to that kind of rock, but I will probably get myself a copy of that ELP album, I'm starting to get into that band, to contribute, yes there are very few, but I'd say Paranoid by Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin II.

SMSL sap II or Nuforce Icon HDP

I got this amp a few months ago, and it's my only amp as of now (I just kinda got into listening to music with high quality headphones, amps).  To me, for the money I paid, it was worth $65 definitely. I'm probably getting Nuforce HDP for my Sennheiser HD650 though, because it seems like it...

Super Mario World SNES: 8.5/10 Probably one of my top 15 games ever. No old school video game collector doesn't have this great classic, every part is fun, some more challenging than others.

Rate The Last Movie You Watched

The last movie I've watched was The Dark Knight. I've seen it 4 times and I don't watch movies often at all. It's got that 'at-home' feel to it each time I see it, like even though I know what's coming up, the action and suspense always get to me and all the scenes come together really great. I...

PS4 vs Xbox One? Well I've bought both 2 months ago, i'll just break both up into paragraphs:   PS4: My first impression was WOW! Controller is fantastic and very easy to use (can't say the same for XBOX ONE.. or Nintendo 64 for that matter). Easy to use, didn't take long to get any apps,   ...
