OPPO HA-2 Portable Headphone Amplifier/DAC Discussion Thread
I might be able to answer your question in about a week. :) I'm going on an extended trip and plan on using the HA-2 exclusively with my iPhone 6 as I travel. I finally got the time the other day to really play around with it. I can't believe how much these improve my IM-02's when being fed...- MaHawkma

Help with Rock & Gaming Open Headphones. HD 600, DT 990 pro, AKG Q701 for starters
I hope you like them. They are definitely more "fun" cans then my HD595's. If you want a primer on what they will sound like, read @Baycode's review. After having them for awhile, I agree almost completely with his conclusions(except for the bass and I don't have an issue with the weight)...- MaHawkma

Help with Rock & Gaming Open Headphones. HD 600, DT 990 pro, AKG Q701 for starters
In my experience, I have had no neck pain using them. However, I haven't done a marathon 8 hour session on them or anything. The most I have used them in a stretch to date is like 4 hours.- MaHawkma

Help with Rock & Gaming Open Headphones. HD 600, DT 990 pro, AKG Q701 for starters
I second this statement. I just picked up a pair of X2's and while noticeably heavier from my old HPs (HD595's), the weight is distributed well and they have not been fatiguing over long sessions.- MaHawkma

Philips Fidelio X2?!
Finally was able to put a couple of hours on my new cans last night. I just want to thank whoever returned these to Amazon because, as far as I can tell, there is nothing wrong with them. They definitely have a different sound then my HD595's. Going to need a little more time to elaborate...- MaHawkma

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
After reading the thread I've decided to pick up a pair of IM-02s through Amazon. Going to pair them with an Oppo HA-2 and should be getting both tomorrow. This is my first IEM purchase in over three years and I can't wait to check them out!- MaHawkma

Philips Fidelio X2?!
@socks mk2 Your post was the one that got me worried the most. Based on your feedback, I've already ordered the KabelDirekt aftermarket cable. I'll replicate what you did to test it. Crossing my fingers I'm getting one that doesn't have any issues. Thanks. Ps. This place is dangerous to ones...- MaHawkma

Philips Fidelio X2?!
Long time lurker, first time poster. Anytime I am looking to upgrade my gear, this forum is always my first stop. Anyway, Thanks to you guys, I have a pair of X2's on their way. I was looking for a replacement for HD595's and thought the natural upgrade path would either be the 600 or 650. So, I...- MaHawkma
