Hello. I wrote about exact same problem check the thread. But let me summarize it real quick anyway. I got my akg from b&h photo for $650 and was excited to listen to these headphones. Jon, try auto adjustment by pushing and holding button to right and playing around normal studio and surround mode by pushing and releasing same button fast ?- masterfuu

hi guys, just got the N90Q and struggling to run above 44.1khz with my Mac. When trying to run higher I get cracking sounds. Any suggestions on how to solve? When running from iPhone no issue with cracking. When running at 44.1 24bit no issues. Just when trying a higher bit rate. As far as...- masterfuu

Best most neutral headphones I ever had. You need nothing more then hd600 in your life. Powering with objective 2 with great results. Needs nothing more. Schiit Valhalla 2 just hair better at 4x pricetag.- masterfuu

The bottlehead crack with a Sylvania 12au7 tube has wonderful synergy with T1s. Including beautiful thumping bass.- masterfuu

yes sir as you can see on box "Westone Special Edition 30" available previously in Japan only, the Massdrop version has slight (but tastefully executed) bass boost. Although to my ears it feels mostly flat maybe slightly recessed mid range HD650 level. Overall clear sounding high definition IEM...- masterfuu

great review always nice to have honest people review. Why should he reconsider? Just because you spend lots of money on something it is not a guarantee for a five star rating. For example I would give HD600 five star but HD800 3 stars. I had both few times. More money does not equal better...- masterfuu

99,999 yen is about $875 as of today. Too much there is lots of headphones you can buy for that kind of money. These better be world class closed back headphones with sound and finish better then D7000 (I doubt it)- masterfuu
