CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
I've been following this thread from the start and just made the decision to get the DAVE. I've been using the Hugo for awhile and I use it in my home stereo setup. Thanks for all the thoughts and reviews of DAVE it's been very helpful. Now the problem for me is how I can actually get it...- rayleemw

The Chord Hugo TT is announced.
Yeah the price is too steep. The biggest competitor will be the Hugo itself if people liked what the Hugo sound like. As for that price range there are MANY options to choose from, if the Hugo sound is not your thing. A 20 to 30 percent or even up to 40 percent of the original Hugo price I...- rayleemw

The Chord Hugo TT is announced.
disappointed with the TT yes it has alot more connectivity options as a desktop. say if I don't have a Hugo already then I may *think* about the TT. looking at the price difference though and only marginally better SQ, I think the original Hugo will be my choice. most desktop users got their...- rayleemw

More time with the Hugo and some comparison with what I heard and what I had - especially addressing the bright sounding of the vocal or the upper range. I believe AL was the one who first stated the bright vocal sounding of the hugo, and I believe he has some DACs costing a lot more than...- rayleemw

LAMPIZATOR THREAD COMMENTS REVIEWS TUNING
I've never used tubes before and this is the first tube gear I may get into. That's quite a big list of tubes you listed! Sounds like fun trying them out. I'll have the L7 for a home demo in 2 days with my own speakers and SS amp. I can't wait for it!- rayleemw

LAMPIZATOR THREAD COMMENTS REVIEWS TUNING
Hi all, Just had a chance to listen to the L7. I can say the piano is nothing I have heard before, the notes are so real and musical. The guitar sounded fantastic as well! My budget area is actually the L4, or the L5 with zero add-ons. I don't think I can audition either models...- rayleemw

Chord Hugo
Thanks for the suggestions. I am finding Hugo plus my phone and a full headphone a little unwieldy on the go, adding another amp onto the mix would stop me bringing anything at all. I've also made up my mind to get a closed can, I live in a noisy busy city and much prefer a little...- rayleemw

Chord Hugo
Hi all, a proud owner of the Hugo. A very revealing DAC for both headphones and my full stereo! I purchased the Hugo primarily for my home audio, only to realise its so great to take with for all my trips and its not staying settled. Now I'm looking for another desktop DAC AND a new pair...- rayleemw
