Well my QC35s are gonna be going up for sale.

What I find disturbing is how many here already comparing the Studio 3 to other headphones. Really? They aren't out yet! I like to keep my head out of the sand until I hear/see them. I won't defend Beats but I will give them a chance.

I wondered why I haven't visited head-fi for a while..... its because there's so much hate for those who don't comply with other's opinions. If you like something and want to give us your opinion, that's fine. But why do others attack?

I did this exchange over a month ago. I do not know what the Bose store did with my returned set.

@Divij thanks but no thanks. I finally have what I want in the QC35. My original set was replaced by the local Bose store after I stopped in and let them compare to the demos. The firmware screwed them up and they gave me a new set right there and then. I hope those who sent their set to Bose...

Sorry, I like how they sound and will not jeopardize by doing other connections. I spent way too many hours to convenience Bose there was a problem. Hope you find your answer.

Nope - I use my AirPods for Mac and iPhone. QC35s just for my iphone 

No and the reason (for me) is I have not updated my firmware since getting them replaced. 1.06 is what the replacement came with and it will stay that way. Over at Bose they have requested 20 or so users send them their bad sets for an autopsy

As long as you DO NOT update from 1.0.6 on a virgin pair of QC35s. I had my original set replaced and the new one has ANC like the original.

I had both of those headphones and the QC35s are much more comfortable.

I posted on the Bose forum.... DO NOT update the firmware from 1.0.6 - I exchanged mine with Bose because the update was terrible. Got a new set w/1.0.6 from factory and HAPPY!!!

When I tried the Bose revert via my Mac it did downgrade, but the 1.0.6 from before didn't sound the same. In fact, the ANC was not the same. Never heard voices in my office before the upgrade but I did on the downgrade. Bose store had no problem changing out my set - they know of the issues.
