my DAC AM stopped working.
here is the link to the site for my dac: DIYCLUB.biz i have tried several power cords in several outlets, and the dac still does not turn on. it is less than a year old so diyclub said they'd repair the dac for free as long as i'd pay for shipping both ways. i was planning on posting this...- Funkdeal

dared mp5 with insignia nsb2111
i just got a pair of nsb2111 speakers for my dared mp5. i don't know how to describe it, but everything sounds extremely tinny and bright coming through the speakers. i have a pair of k701s and they sound bassy in comparison to the speakers. i would say that the speakers sound like music being...- Funkdeal

i'm looking to buy a pair of headphones to be used with my electronic drumkit and bass amp. right now i have akg k701s and etymotic er4s; both of which suck for these situations. i'm assuming i'm going to need something sealed? i'm looking to spend around 50 bucks. i would most definetely...- Funkdeal

i recently received a pair of amperex 12ax7s for my dared mp5. they sound great, but one of the tubes flashes when i turn the amp on. i had the tube arcing problem with the ld2+ and it definetely isn't as "violent" of a flash, sort of an orange flare, but i'm still concerned. should i contact...- Funkdeal

quick dared mp5 tube question.
do the front two tubes in a dared mp5 have to be matched? in adhoc's tube faq, he states that "In general, only power tubes need to be matched. Rarely will you come across an amp that requires its preamp tubes be matched." I was just wondering if this were the case for the mp5. thanks.- Funkdeal

tube hum. what are my options?
i recently purchased two ge 5751 tubes. they sound great, but one of them seems to give off a very low frequency hum. it's not that loud, but it can be a bust for critical listening. is there any way i can replace just one of the tubes? i don't really know what "matched" tubes are, but...- Funkdeal
