I think I'm having a grounded loop issue (Studio monitors and Desktop PC)

I did mean 305, didn't even notice!   My PC is definitely overdue a cleaning, so I may do this at the weekend.   My problem did actually get worse after moving my PC a month or so ago (didn't take it apart, just picked it up out moved it out the room to get some new furniture in), so...

I think I'm having a grounded loop issue (Studio monitors and Desktop PC)

Hey,   Apologies for the late reply, but I have tried a few things in the interim.   I bought a Behringer UCA222 to try and fix the issue, to no avail. I also decided to get some better shielded cables as the ones I had were cheap rubbish, but that unfortunately didn't help either.   I'm...

I think I'm having a grounded loop issue (Studio monitors and Desktop PC)

The onboard noise is actually worse than with the Audigy 2 ZS and that's why I bought the Audigy 2 to begin with.   I haven't tried disabling the on-board audio as I do actually use the front panel for headphones (I work from home a couple of days a week so I use them for VOIP calling), so I'd...

I think I'm having a grounded loop issue (Studio monitors and Desktop PC)

Hey,   So I've had this problem since I got my speakers over a year ago, but I recently rearranged my room and it got a lot worse to the point of it not being bearable any more. I think it's a grounded loop problem, but I'd appreciate some input from people more knowledgeable than me.   I...

Volume problem with my Corsair SP2500 due to blown fuse.

Just fiddled about with the cables again and tried every combination (just sub, L only, R only, both) but none of them made a difference. I will say that the sub hasn't shown a shred of life this whole time. It doesn't appear to be outputting anything whatsoever.

Volume problem with my Corsair SP2500 due to blown fuse.

Sorry, I'm with you now. I apologise!   Unfortunately, they still only play very faintly at max volume through my phone.

Volume problem with my Corsair SP2500 due to blown fuse.

I plugged the subwoofer into the headphone jack on my pc, then my headphones into the AUX2 port and they worked just fine. After unplugging the headphones the sound went quiet again through the satellites.   I just tried reseating all the cables to no avail. When unplugging the headphones from...

Volume problem with my Corsair SP2500 due to blown fuse.

I have tried a different socket and cord, to no avail.   I just tried using the AUX2 port by plugging my headphones in and it works completely fine. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Volume problem with my Corsair SP2500 due to blown fuse.

Hey guys,   I recently had a problem with my Corsair SP2500's (which prompted the creation of the new speaker thread about a week ago) and I'm trying to get them fixed but I've run into an issue. I came back from holiday on Sunday the 7th, and when I turn my speakers on at the wall, there was...

Buying an audio system mainly for PC at around £200.

Except the Tannoy, I think the other 2 are starting to get a little too expensive. I was hoping to get both the amp and speakers for about £200, which the Dali and Monitor would start to push me beyond unless they are really that worth it over the Q2020i's.   I appreciate the help...

Buying an audio system mainly for PC at around £200.

I don't intend on trying to get it repaired as I wouldn't know how and I don't anyone nearby that would either, so it's probably not worth the cost. I probably will sell the satellites though.     The speakers being too close to the wall shouldn't be an issue and they probably won't be...

Buying an audio system mainly for PC at around £200.

Hi guys,   I'd like some help with buying some speakers for my PC at around the £200 mark. My Corsair SP2500's died on me on Sunday so I need something to replace them and I figure at the point, if I want a noticeable upgrade I'm going to have to move into bookshelf speakers and the like. I...
