Finally did it firmware 1.40 loaded it was the hex file from iriver I went to some Japanese site and downloaded the zip file and it loaded first try.Thaks to all who gave really great info on my broblem.you guys rip

This is really driving me nuts the hex file still will not load something has got to be wrong. It always worked before.if I open the ak drive it has the three ak folders in there play list. System. And music but they are not in a row there is hdtracks music folders and my aiff music in there...

Are those 3 folders part of the main folder for the ak

I'm on a mac book pro there is only three folders that I see play list.system.and music.what is the main ak folder called.

If I drop it on the Ak drive it goes to my music and sits there. If I open the the Ak drive I see three folders system.playlist.and music if I drop the hex file with these folders or in these folders it just sits there and won't be recognized by ak how many folders are there for ak os 3 or 4

It just won't take a firmware update. I have done all the other updates not a problem current firmware 1.37 then I went back to firmware 1.33 for while then back 1.37 now 1.40 will not load it just sits there in the music list?

The player works great. No issues at all.the os must.be ok how many os files are on the ak120 I have 3 music.playlist.and system or is there supposed to be 4

I have lost my root folder on my a k120 i only have 3 folders visible music,system,and playlist.Cant upgrade to firmware 1.40 with out it is there a way to recover the root folder or reinstall the operating system on the a k120?
