don't know. at the time i'm using akg k551, but i have been wanting to try out some k701/702, and beyerdynamic dt770, or maybe some sennheisers, and thehifiman he-300 looks very interesting. and the list goes on  

so i want a small desktop amp to use with a pc. entry level price. a quick search shows that a local dealer either have or can order a fiio e09k. measures 4x6x2"(don't want to go bigger than that, even smaller would be great) and has an output of 900mW/32ohms.   what other alternatives are...

interesting. i am in the market for an on-ear headphone, and have been very satisfied with 2 of the 3 akg's i've owned. but this enriched bass and lifestyle(whatever that means) makes me doubt the y-series.
