Need Help on the Bass differences between Audio Technica M30x/40x/50x
I personally would save up money and buy the ATH-M50. You should be able to find them easily ~$120. I also think the bass on the M-50 doesnt hit as hard I would have wanted them to (I am a basshead) but it is definitely there, so I would think the m30/m40 won't have much bass and would not be...- Elvisdough

V-Moda M-100 would definitely fit your listening style. The bass is very punchy and detailed. The build quality is very sturdy and literally rock solid. Also it has a detachable cable. Any real benefit by adding DAC and AMP with already existing Sound Blaster Z?
I also had a similar sound card but then i purchased the Fiio E10K. The sound quality is crystal clear and overall noticeably better. A Amp would be overkill and unnecessary.- Elvisdough
