I wonder if the cable can be replaced by any 3.5 mm cable since i prefer shorter cables without mic and buttons. can anyone confirm that any cables do work please?

...ok so u want Isolation, i´m also pretty sure that you will be lucky with the dt770`s then. even if i own the grado gs1000i`s once, i will never sell the 770`s because of their unique qualities as closed headphones.   they are classics because they are simply good!

i do own the dt770 pro. i like them and use them at home. for mobile i use grado sr 80. for my hobby as a dj i us the audio technica ath 700mk2.   like i said i like them, they are comfortable imo, even after hours, pretty neutral with a plus in bass.  (i like that!) they don`t get boring or...

also good to know. i wish i could compare both pairs but i wont be able to do that in the next future. You say, that the cables are not detachable/replaceable on the GS 1000i. But isn`t that the same on the GS 1000?

Is there really no difference in the looking of both Versions beside the Package? I don`t want to get the GS1000 by accident

The Title said it, i`d like to know how to identify the GS 1000i. I can buy a used Pair, but i couldn`t find the Difference in the looking of both Versions in the entire www. Do they really look the same? Help here is really appreciated, because i wanna buy the"i" Version
