how to identify Grado GS 1000i (do they really look like the original GS 1000?)

The Title said it, i`d like to know how to identify the GS 1000i. I can buy a used Pair, but i couldn`t find the Difference in the looking of both Versions in the entire www. Do they really look the same?
Help here is really appreciated, because i wanna buy the"i" Version
