Interesting musical reference in Lost
I was just wondering if any Lost fans here caught the interesting musical reference in tonight's (3/16) episode. Somewhere about halfway through the episode when Locke reached out a hand to help Kate up, Giacchino quite clearly quoted the vulgarized idea fixe from the fifth movement of Berlioz'...- JSTpt1022

Help choose a photographer!
Fellow headfiers, although I never made a formal announcement, I'm not that narcissistic and you all don't know me that well, the fiance and I are planning a wedding. We are torn on the issue of a photographer and I was hoping to enlist your collective opinions. We are torn between two...- JSTpt1022

Stewart V. Cramer
This is weird for me to do but I just have to get some of this out there. Now, I love Jon Stewart, I think he's hilarious, and damned if I don't tend to agree with a lot of what he says. I catch the Daily show almost every night. But I thought his interview with Jim Cramer tonight was shameful...- JSTpt1022

Broke My HD280s
I had a little accident with my HD280s and the jack plug ended up bent inside the strain relief jacket. Now the left speaker is out. It comes back intermittently if you play with the jack a bit. My question; is there any way to remove this strain relief jacket without completely destroying...- JSTpt1022

Overclocking and power supplies
Hi all, I've never really messed around with overclocking too much, despite having the gear for it as well as truly epic cooling capacity. But I recently got into folding@home and I've started dabbling a little bit in an effort to lower my frame times. First, I guess I should run down the...- JSTpt1022

Simulating with PSPICE
Hi everyone. I've been trying to simulate a basic Cmoy with a Burr Brown 2134 op amp with PSPICE but I feel as if I've been groping around in the dark. I have a few questions that I hope some of you EEs and DIYers out there can shed some light on. -The basic thing I've been trying to simulate...- JSTpt1022

Parting of the Sensory -SongMeanings.net
Over in the Favorite Songs of 2007 thread someone posted a link to songmeanings.net. I went over there and searched for what I had posted as my favorite song of the year, "Parting of the Sensory" by Modest Mouse. I was shocked to find what the majority of the people there believe this song is... -

ER-6 v. ER-6i
I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on one of these but I am looking for some specifics on their differences from people with experience with either. Some background. Bad Voltage + Headamp = ?
I recently moved into a not so great shared house to commute to school. Of course, my computer and headphone system came with me. One night I noticed my desk light dim a bit. When this happened, I immediately went to my ups to check the voltage it was receiving... 108v! Could this be...- JSTpt1022

ASIO component for foobar v0.8.3 needed
I just switched computers and I forgot to grab that kind of stuff. I want to continue to use the itunes multiplugin with foobar as the back end and, until there is a multiplugin update, that means using the older version of foobar. Does anyone know where I can grab that? I haven't been able to...- JSTpt1022
