Good guitar music?
The first Pullman cd on The Thrill -Jockey label is very nice! Very well recorded, warm, rolling, modal (SP?) type stuff. Not the most virtuoso (flashy) playing, but very relaxed and flowing. Second Pullman cd is a bit of a dissapointment. -
Flaming Lips comments?
Strangly the soft bullitin didn't do to much for me. I recorded a FL's tune off the radio some years back. I don't know the name of it but I like it alot. It has lyrics like... "Come along if you dare. Don't be afraid to care. If everyone were different there'd be nothing left to change... -
Corda Jack Problem.
The connection between my headpones plug and my Corda Blues jack is slippery! If I touch-fiddle with the jack a bit, I can get both channels, apparently full-on. But the slipperyness of the connection bothers me, and with time I imagine it could get worse. I would like to open up the Corda and...- Doug W.

BEST REMASTERED CD's.
I can't agree with the Sly collection- tooooo bright!! Of course that stuff may have been recorded like that in the first place, super-hyped for AM car-radio play. Like MC-5's "Back in the USA", great songs, horrible production. -
Favorite voice?
Liz Fraser- Cocteau Twins Smokey Robinson Tim Buckly Tanita Tikerham and lately Hope Sandoval off her Bararian FruitBread solo cd. A lot of Mazzy Star fans don't care for this cd, but I feel it's her best work yet. last but not least... Sade. -

Patti Smith's Horses. At the time it arrived, it was just so... different. It changed me forever. -
Albums you regret buying
Modest Mouse I like a lot, but they should cut their cd's down from 72 minutes to about 40. Too much of a good thing! Plus they tend to stay on one note (emotionaly speaking) so I always get bored/irritated with them about 50 minutes into cd, but again I do like them ALOT! BIG... -
Bored of my music...
OK here's what you should do... Get... Stooge's RAW POWER (the new Iggy Remix, not the old Bowie deal) MC5's BABES IN ARMS The Sea and The Cake's THE BIZ and THE FAWN Yo La Tengo's AND NOTHING TURNED ITSELF INSIDE OUT and SUMMER SUN Vladislav Delay's MULTILA Pole's POLE 2... -

What Are You Listening To RIGHT NOW?
Lilys- in the presence of nothing. At work on a Radio Shack portable and grado-60's. 3:39 AM, about 3 hours and 20 minutes to go. -

What music will never be in your collection?
No Styx's no REO no Journey no Cheap Trick no TOTO no Loggins and Messina no Seals and Croft no Kansas no Babies no no no no no! 70's era FM almost as bad as 90's to now. Liked some 80's FM. Loved 60's AM. Wish we had a 60'sish AM Hit-Parade type radio scene now! Plenty of bullcrap (as... -
Good bands that people have forgotten about.
Not to old but Superchunk, Band of Susan's and ***** Galour come to mind. Going back further - The Dream Syndicate and Wall of VooDoo. Still further Family, The Move and MC5's. The Chocolate Watchband and The Ugly Ducklings didn't contribute too much to 60's Acid/Punk rock, but what...
