Same here I'm trying to talk myself into this one. It would be my first purchase in the audio accompanied by LCD-2's. I wanted to order directly from a UK retailer since the US price mark up is BS, but they are only supplied with UK psu and version and such.

I was curious of this as well as it peeked my interest. However the Prime turns me off that in it "needs" a $1200 psu, and only comes with in my opinion a cheap wall wart for such a unit.

smial1966 I had not, but it appears that this is the route I will take, especially if it proves to be more feasible and economical. 

  I found a distributor, well the only distributor in the US that I found thus far and they are going to be charging $2,395 for the unit, even though the exchange rate is much less ($1966.08).

Yeah I bet it does, I would love to purchase those or even the LCD-X, but I thought it would be better to purchase a great pair of cans like the LCD-2 and have a little more money for a DAC/AMP, specifically the DAC. Would you agree?
