The FiiO X1 Discussion and Help and Support Thread |192K/24B|100mW | LO | inline remote
OK, thanks. I knew I can't use X1 as DAC but I would have like to use the NFB15's DAC with X1 as source. Too bad.- carrion crow

Hi, I planned to buy an Audio-gd NFB15, but can I use my X1 as source through USB ? The NFB15 doesn't have RCA input.- carrion crow

OK, thank you. Yes it's a class 10 (this one). I've put ~40Go onto it so it took about 30min to transfer while directly plugged in the reader of my laptop. I formatted it in fat32 (under GNU/linux with gParted) but I think something went wrong.- carrion crow

Hello, I've just received my X1. My 64Gb card has not been recognized so I formated it with the X1 and it's OK. Now I'm transfering my music onto it again, it's taking long. My firmware is 1.2. Is it normal because I see on Fiio's website that the last firmware is 1.1 ?- carrion crow

FiiO Mont Blanc/E12 portable headphone amp, 880mW, slim design, full metal case. Bass boost and Cross feed!
I listened to the E12 yesterday. It's powerfull enough to drive my DT880. But the sound with my cowon D2+ is not as good as Fiio X1 + E12. So I didn't buy anything, I will think about it a little more. Thank you.- carrion crow

FiiO Mont Blanc/E12 portable headphone amp, 880mW, slim design, full metal case. Bass boost and Cross feed!
Hi, For ~100€, do you think I must go for a X1 or a E12 paired with my Cowon D2+ ? I have a Beyerdynamic DT880 250Ω (my cowon can't handle it), a sennheiser PX100-II and Jays S-jays. Later, I think I will sell the device (X1 or E12) and buy a X3II.- carrion crow

Physical buttons FTW ! @Fiio : I'm ripping my entire CD collection in flac for this X3k (actually 121/211 CD done), don't let me wait too long. Give us some infos please. Official announcement of this X3k at 2015 International CES ?- carrion crow

FiiO K5 || FiiO's docking desktop amp
OK, that's what I tought, but I'm not sure if it is a hardware or software limitation from X1. So I will wait for the X3k.- carrion crow

DT 880 No sound in left driver
Hi, I've made a test : I've put balance sound only to the left channel and put a piece of metal between right and left connections onto the left driver. Sound comes out normally on the right driver. So I think it's definitively not the cable (sad for my wallet I think).- carrion crow

DT 880 No sound in left driver
Thanks for your reply. I've already checked the cable by testing continuity between jack and solder onto the drivers, and it seems to be OK. It's weird because I don't carry my headphones, it still on my desk all the time.- carrion crow

DT 880 No sound in left driver
Hi, I've got the same problem with my DT 880 250Ω : I've got a very very weak sound in left driver. I've tried another source, same problem. I've tried to twist the jack, nothing. I've tested connections with a multimeter, it's OK. Nothing seems desoldered. I' ve got 236Ω between ground and...- carrion crow
