About to get some new IEMs around $100 to replace my sennheiser momentums as my portable headphones. I tried the etymotic hf5 but the deep insertion was very uncomfortable for me, do you think the re-400 will be more comfortable? 

I had the etymotic hf5 and found them to be very uncomfortable. I have a bit of swimmers ear so I need something that won't go far into the ear canal (like hf5). But I do want them to have decent to good isolation. Need to be under $100 and I would prefer them not to be an over the ear cable...

The etymotic hf's buds look to be pretty long like they would stick out of the ear a bit. Are the mc's any smaller? Also anyone that has etymotic's, are they durable? The cables look a little cheap.
