Might as well post this here too. I think I got used to the sound they have by now and I don't even EQ them anymore. Not perfect to my ears (I could use more mids I guess) but, pretty enjoyable and definitely an upgrade.

I haven't had personal experiences yet but yeah, as long as it's a legit one should be fine. It really looked very solid and nice to handle when I tried them so I recognize that they should be at least better than the V90 in that department, lol.

What a shame. But yeah, at least it isn't actually broken but it made get sad. I must admit that the C12 felt nicer to handle too, they felt very solid.

  Nah, it's pretty easy. If you don't want to destroy it, just use something sharp on the borders of the filter until it gets loose. I did until half of it was off, and I stuffed the cotton.

  I don't see why it shouldn't last. It was an instant fix so it's not like a coincidence or something Anyways, it's just so dumb that the lack of foam as filter or something can cause a problem that's so annoying.
