Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
Adding the 3rd party software and changing your entire architecture is not an overnight task. How long has high end streaming been popular? 2 years. Product cycle takes time, effort and thus lots of money. From hardware and audio solution to software and OS platform is not something to be...- Watcherq

So Singapore pre-order is still the cheapest. If not for the fact that I'm jobless at the moment, I would have gotten it despite having both 1Z and 208Ti- Watcherq

No no... what I meant was overseas people to order through Zeppelin or to go to the shop itself. BTW, the description of sales tax rebate is the other way round. If you order from overseas and ship it there, you pay shipping fees + insurance but no 7%. If you are a foreigner and get sales tax...- Watcherq

That price includes sales tax of 7%. If you order it and if you are from overseas you can get more discount! :hugging: or shipping overseas will also reduce that sales tax (no 7% but has about 1% processing) as well.:fingers_crossed:- Watcherq

Sony NW-ZX300
Don't wait. Open up and start burning the 3.5mm output. Takes about 200 hours so about 9 days later you can start burning in the 4.4mm output or when it comes.- Watcherq

Yep, there are quite a few dff -> dsf + tagging with metadata out there... The conversion itself is lossless as well.- Watcherq

Correct dff files are like wav files, both cannot embed meta data. Luckily, dff -> dsf is simple and lossless.- Watcherq

SpinFit Eartips Thread - The cheapest audio upgrade
When the entire range becomes a lot more available, I'll re-look if the CP240 is better. Right now on my Dita Dream, I need to get a vacuum seal before the bass is balanced. Btw, they were giving the CP220/M2 out in small plastic bags at Canjam Singapore; I'm surprised no one mention it here.- Watcherq

High end (IEM) cable thread: impressions, pics, comparisons and reviews.
Ha ha I'm there to test out the cables. The Han Audio Red Core is really good for its price and punches above its price point. It is almost as good as my Leonidas. Was thinking to go lite with that or go high with 4-wire 1960 if I liquidate my other stuff to pay for it...- Watcherq

High end (IEM) cable thread: impressions, pics, comparisons and reviews.
To be honest, I fell in love with the 4-wire 1960 when it was first released. Like what jmills8 said, beautiful subs stage, great detail but not gritty like another cable that I heard. I heard that the guys at MS can do a deal if you call them in advance or drop them an email. They seem willing...- Watcherq

On my SE846, I noticed that on high gain, the music sounds a little more forward, assertive even aggressive by a touch. It sounds 'rougher' like a bit of grains of sand. Not too irritating and can be even enjoyable but not laid back.- Watcherq
