I have a friend looking at these. I'm just wondering; I know they're completely different. but how do these compare to DT 880 600 ohms in being neutral?

Why don't we try to get something together before there's snow on the ground. Rather than wait another year with little to no action. I mean it won't take much and it would led to the possibility of future meets/ events in Edmonton as well.

Never mind on the questions, returning my DT880s.   Bigger problems right now.

So overall would that be a yes for the C421 being able to drive the DT880s or not? That math seems to check out, but it's difficult to find anything other than this thread. I've been looking for a few hours now and everywhere else I go opinions seem to subjective rather than objective.

I have someone that is offering to sell me a Bifrost revision one (no usb, just optical) and a Gen 1 Asgard Amp for $475.   Is that a good deal or not?

I got my pair in today, and without an amp I was forced to use my cheap $150 mixing board.    It's the first time I've ever had to fully max out that board to get normal listening levels.    I know they sound different than when they're properly amped, but man are these things neutral...

I just picked up a pair of 600 OHM DT880s on sale for $250 Now all I need to get is a decent DAC/Headphone amp combo and I'm set.   I'm just wondering, has anyone used these things with mixing boards or stage pianos and if so did those items have enough juice to power these things sufficiently?
