OH yes, that'll cost more definitely. I'll probably go for a temp plastic housing which I can cut/making holes with a knife, and pick up tools later for real casing. Thanks.- hell0un1verse

Oops, I didn't notice that AMB actually used a 70062 in his STEPS for M^3, mine does generate pretty much heat. I just soldered the heatsink down, pretty big bulby joint So seems that I need to tap the heatsinks of M^3 and solder them down too.- hell0un1verse

BTW, do you guys bolt the transformer onto the STEPS PCB? I just noticed it has a hole for it, I wonder if the 8 soldering points can hold the transformer in case it's turned upside down.
