[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I just got this headphones a couple weeks ago and I'm enjoying them so far. But the sound is a little unclear. I was wondering if the sound would become clearer if I bought the Soundblaster Z soundcard. I'm using the stock cable since I like how thick it is.- IG268

Superlux HD668B vs Sennheiser HD 428 vs JVC HARX700? Mainly used for Metal and Classical music as well as gaming. Thanks.
I don't know much about headphones either, but I have the Samson SR850 (which is apparently the same as the668B) and the Sennheiser HD428. I thought the 428 was a nice pair of headphones, but the bass is pretty much non-existent (to my ears) and they're way too quiet (to my ears). Other than...- IG268

Do I need anything more than a sound card for these headphones?
Alright, looks like they'll be my next headphone purchase. Hows the bass compared to the SR850? Better or worse? I like the amount of bass from the SR850 btw. Although they do seem to lack some on the more bass heavy tracks I have.- IG268

Do I need anything more than a sound card for these headphones?
I was actually looking at the ATH-A900X for a while now. They're $169 over at amazon too, so that's good. Is there a huge difference between the ATH-A900X and the AD900x?- IG268

Do I need anything more than a sound card for these headphones?
Just music. I listen to a lot of stuff. But I guess the main genres I keep coming back to are Jazz, Classical and rock. I listen to a lot of female vocalists too.- IG268

Do I need anything more than a sound card for these headphones?
Dunno what I would upgrade to though Any suggestions? I read that the SR850 is a neutral sounding headphone, so I'd want another pair like that, but better. Not looking for anything real expensive right now (no more than $250). Around the ear.- IG268

Do I need anything more than a sound card for these headphones?
Hello everyone :D I have the Samson SR850 and a ASUS Xonar DG soundcard. I'm satisfied with the sound, but I was wondering if I needed anything else to improve it more, or is the sound card good enough for these? I don't have much experience with headphones honestly. My previous headphones...- IG268
