Audeze LCD-X
Kudos to Audeze to ask to look at. My LCx are like fm radio with bass compared to senn 850 and every Stax I have had. Must be something wrong...sending to factory.- randyb

Had 800 vs LCD x
Is there something wrong with my Audeze? I know john Attkinson chose thei Audeze but mine are so dark no cymbals vs. my Senn HD 800 makes me think there is something wrong with the LCD..if not they really kind of suck.- randyb

Oppo PM-1 Planar Magnetic Headphone Impressions Thread
More listening. Oppo I like better than the more expensive Audeze LCDX but but the sennehiiset Hd800 might be a little better. Overall, best value is the OPPO. But it is just my opinion.- randyb

Oppo PM-1 Planar Magnetic Headphone Impressions Thread
An old guy (67) comparing the Audeze LCD-x, Sennheiser 800 and the opp. The Audeze and Sennheiser initially just kill, the oppo, BUT the oppo seems not to be great at bass (Audeze) and the treble Sennheiser. Makes me think the oppo may actually reflect the original mix. I listen to early analog...- randyb

Oppo PM-1: A New Planar Magnetic Headphone!
I am always interested in what (volume) level is when an adult says that there hearing extends to 20khz. Is it the same level that would be considered a normal level for say the human voice. Most hearing tests done by audiologist test only to that level and range. If you use the same level for...- randyb

Back into headphones after many years
And I have several questions for the experts. Why do I like the pbs 4u2 so much better than the hp 50..dynamics? Why do I still really love the koss pro 4 I got when I was like 21 Why do I still love electrostatic headphones and they get little respect. Why does inner fidelity wall of fame...- randyb

You are a funny guy. You can do two channels with this (or three etc. up to eight). Write Mark at AIX-he records in both stereo and surround. I am not sure why you are posting other than just sort a "trolling around" Whatever, I am done responding to your posts-flail away.- randyb

Long awaited Smyth SVS Realiser NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
I am sure the pro people who are using this would find your description somewhat suspect. Yes, I mastered this million selling CD using this gimmick (instead of my 10k Genelec monitors). After all, recorded music is just a "gimmick" because it is just an emulation of the real event. You need to...- randyb
