I have a set of UE PRMs that I'd like to pass on to a family member. Obviously they'd need to be remade from a new mold. I contacted UE and this is not a service they provide, however I could have sworn I saw a company somewhere that offered this as a service, but I've been unable to locate...

I haven't ordered yet, but I was considering it, so I called JH to see what their lead time was on these. For CF models, they said "we're pretty far behind". For the regular kind, they said "we can do those faster, we're only a few months behind on those". So..... yeah. FYI.

I concur: once I fixed all my albums to display art, scanning takes _A LOT_ longer now. I have about 2200 tracks, about 85GB of music, and scanning takes almost half an hour. Thank god you can trigger it manually.   One crazy idea I had: the file format the AK100 stores its scanning database...

Is it just me or is the D12 not able to play 24/192 audio via optical in? When I try this via my AK100 and the Sysconcept cable, I can hear the song but a TON of static on top of it. Does the D12 not actually support 192 kHz optical input? iBasso's web site is surprisingly silent on the...

My DX100 volume sweet spot is also ~190 using the mid gain setting, on my CIEMs (Ultimate Ears personal reference monitors, which have a 1 kHz impedance of 31 ohms).
