Rich, dumb, audiophile spendaholic fools?
Back in my high school days I would never have dreamed of having a $10K system, but I knew I liked good sounding music. I purchased my first system in 12th grade (teac and harmon kardon, stuff $300-400)......Somewhere along the way this old guy told me to buy top quality pieces because they held...- Fkelly5

Wadia 861?
Regarding the Wadia 301...Is the remote for the 301 an improvement over the remote for the 830 and can you use it for the 830. If the answer is yes can I get it directly from Wadia (I have no dealers in my area, Charlotte, NC). The remote for the 830 is very lame, cheap feeling and the...- Fkelly5

Wadia 861?
Hey jefemeister, Are there any new developments with the 830. I was also under the impression that Wadia was either out of business or going thru some tough times. Great player by the way.....Coupled with my Krell KAV 300 and Dynaudio 1.8's and Cardas Cross interconnects....- Fkelly5

ETY-4P Purchase
After reading all the comments on this board I took the plunge and purchased the 4p's. I was really concerned about the microphonics everyone seemed to complain about and how comfortably they would fit in the ear. ( I had the Senn 500's) and I don't care how good they may sound, I couldn't keep...- Fkelly5
