The Etymotics HF5 Thread
Quote: I dont necessarily agree, granted my HF5 are almost right out of the box (amazaing detail and accuracy) and I have little experience with the R50, the HF5/3/2 are definitely better suited for specific types of genres. Thats my opinion, feel free to disagree :D EDIT: Since I...- ksz210

The amount of detail and accuracy is simply astounding, however there are two problems, one is MUCH bigger than the other. The first minor problem, the included tips...- ksz210

HF5 vs RE-400 in terms of isolation i know the HF5 are better, but i was wondering if it was possible to get the triple tips on the re-400. i listen to majority classical music (70%-80%) and the other times i enjoy some EDM, more concerned with accurate bass rather than head thumping bass. ...- ksz210

i dont want them to be too revealing as to show all the flaws in a recording, sometimes i use them on sources that arent the greatest. looking for something not as bassy, decent mids and treble, not a fan of the V sound sig for classical. knowing that, HF2/3, HF5 or x10?- ksz210
