UE 700 - Comply Foams don't fit?
I don't like my comply foams. I’m wondering if anyone has tried UE 700 with custom tips? I mean silicone tips that you have to go to an audiologist and order them from a company (westone for instance)- Superbunny

Bose QC15 vs Audio Technica ATH-M50x?
Regarding the Bose QC15 my understanding it that an amp makes absolutely no sense because the phones itself has one which makes music and noise canceling waves. Therefore, you would double amp which could change signature but unlikely to change the dynamic because the diaphragm is being moved by...- Superbunny

Is it worth getting really high-end headphones if your source is 320kbps audio files?
My experience is that even Pandora at 192kbps sounds extremely better with my ED8. Most of my tracks I listen to at 256kbps or FLAC and the difference is minimum. But when a change from my D2000 to ED8 the difference is immense. However, I cannot say the same for IEMs from UE700 to Westone ES5...- Superbunny

Ultrasone Edition 8
I have ED8 and D2000. I love the ED8s probably because they are not neutral. Its clarity is superior to the D2000 and bass is plenty. In addition, it is very easy to drive and portable amps are not required. Finally, much smaller. Certainly D200 has more mids, but Ed8 has more bass, highs and...- Superbunny

Basshead IEMs with good fit
Don't go with the Monster!! I have the Monster iSport Livestrong, which I bought for treadmill use, and I actually don't like them a bit. Compared to my UE 700, Phiaton PS 20 and even my Sony MDR-ED12LP their sound is really sharp and have no bass. Even worse, after awhile the plastic pieces...- Superbunny

Compared to my UE 700, Phiaton PS 20 and even my Sony MDR-ED12LP their sound is really sharp and have no bass. Bose QC15 vs Audio Technica ATH-M50x?
Compared to my Denon D2000 and ED8, my Bose QC15 sounds good. It has plenty of bass but a bit muddy. However, if you need noise canceling they are simply the best. Even my Westone IEM Es5 does not isolate as much. Unfortunately the build quality is not there. It almost pure plastic and...- Superbunny

Purchasing Schiit Magni to power HD 650, question on which wires to MOTU Track 16 Interface and Macbook
I have my motu track 16 line out connected to a JDSLabs C5 and running my Westone Es5 or ED8. The Lineout + C5 does a better job than the phones out of the track 16, better clarity.- Superbunny

Recommendation for a bass heavy earphone that does not need to be inserted into the ear canal.
I end up buying the Sony's and they are excellent for the price. But after a while a bought a Custom Westone ES5. It is another story but very expensive. However, I still prefer my closed full size cams ED8 when I can use them.- Superbunny

Which is the right for me Ed8, T5p or D7100?
Just want to update that I end up buying the ED8 and I am very happy with the cams. Its clarity is superior to the D2000 and bass is plenty. In addition, it is very easy to drive and portable amps are not required. Finally, much smaller.- Superbunny

Which is the right for me Ed8, T5p or D7100?
Hi, I currently own a D2000 and I need a second closed cam and I also want to go high-end/audiophile. I listen to 70s rock and metal (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Rush, Iron, Judas, Sabbath, Motorhead) and I think the D2000 is good and like its bass punch but I think it is not lively...- Superbunny

Recommendation for a bass heavy earphone that does not need to be inserted into the ear canal.
Looking for a bass heavy earphone that does not need to be inserted into the ear canal. I am not comfortable with deep insertion and I’m also looking for something that could be easily removed and put on the ear, which is definitely not the case with foam tips. What I have tried so far...- Superbunny
