Terrible design,There being sent back.

What do you mean? Putting the headphone into the different port on the soundcard?   I cant use the other end of the cable as its screwable. 

Other end?   I tried all of the cables. What i dont understand is that putting my settings like this    makes the sound play through both earcups with bass.

Ok i played around with my soundcard settings ( asus xonar stx) And putting volume in left ear only and not right ear it plays through both ears with bass. what the hell? Anyone explain this
