Ok i received my ultrasone pro 900 and im having trouble trying to get the cable to fit in the headphones.
 
I get audio from them but only for example the left ear. when i tighten it in i get no sound i fiddle around withit and sometimes get sound in both ears but thats with me holding the cable there.
 
How on earth am i ment to screw this cable in? am i doing something wrong.

Ok i played around with my soundcard settings ( asus xonar stx) And putting volume in left ear only and not right ear it plays through both ears with bass. what the hell? Anyone explain this

I tried all of the cables. What i dont understand is that putting my settings like this 
 
makes the sound play through both earcups with bass.

Switch the jacks you plugged into the headphones with the one you plug into your source. They look really similar

What do you mean? Putting the headphone into the different port on the soundcard?
 
I cant use the other end of the cable as its screwable.
