Quote: Not really seeing something that does both in the shure sensaphonics category, but I definitely do think their earplugs are high on my list. I'd like to find something that works like the kozees. None of you have mentioned anything that increases the human voice also. I know I...- haibane

Kozee Rangers
Has anyone used these before or does anyone know of any alternatives to the Kozee Rangers? I've been looking around at custom earplugs and these are the only ones that boost the human voice while removing noise that I can find. Are there any others? Are these good? Do they work as advertised?- haibane

Just took a double take at the ones you had mentioned joe. I noticed that they are not approved as a hearing protection device. Yikes.- haibane

earplug/iem custom
Doesn't seem like any of these have what I'm looking for so I am back to just looking for earplugs that are ideal for me. I just saw that kozee made some earplugs called rangers. They appear to eliminate everything, but the human voice. Has anyone tried these because that would be awesome if it...- haibane

Need a Nikon D200 book that speaks english!
I think that will change depending on scene from what I have seen Artizen. I generally adjust the compensation based on shot. Look at the histograph and adjust ABSOLUTELY NEVER ADJUST BASED ON THE LCD'S APPEARANCE- haibane

I like your third one. First one is over sharpened. Second is a bit soft and blah. Third one is a great capture. The thing with a built in flash is its very limited.- haibane

I shoot mostly manual. The d50 does have it beat in high iso performance, but I sitll think the d70 image come out much better quality wise.- haibane

Martook. I wouldn't say everything is faster with a DSLR, look at the fujifilm stuff. Extremely slow, but a lot of people rank them high. Also Speed is highly dependent on the card being used.- haibane

On a note about your d40 pictures. The nikon 80-200 is not AF-s so it won't auto focus on the camera. The 200mm is a rediculously expensive lens if you are using the f2 one which I believe you are. So for budget he would be killing himself to get the lenses you have when he could do the same...- haibane

I'd recommend a d1x or d1h over the d40 he simply won't buy used. D3 is a ridiculous comment cause no one really needs that. Honestly I wound sooner recommend a Canon Powershot S5 IS digital camera Then that camera. The Lack of an AF internally is just a huge downfall.- haibane
