Of course it is irrelivant, but the point I am trying to make is that nicad cells do have a cell memory. It may not be as prevailent in PCDP batteries, but it is there.

I'll look into those new Koss models, 20 dollars is getting me excited I doubt I'll be able to buy them in my small town, so if anybody has a link to them online, it would be great. Thanks for the help, Josh

On the one hand, nimh do not have a cell memory (apparently, though I think it is still there, though not as present as in nicads) so charging them is easier, but they are more sensitive to overcharging, you have to watch them a bit more closely. Nicads must be dumped before re-charging them...
