Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???
Yes I have the Philips SHE3575 (the middle one). They sound sublime! I was given them as a gift and I almost didnt even bother opening them but Im so glad I did! Although I do like bass and bucket loads of it these are by no means bass light. As I mentioned i have the TFTA 1XB's and these are...- ak711

Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???
I think i may have received these today, they look the exact same except mine have a mic and the housings are white with black tips. Anyway these are seriously confusing me... They sound pretty damn good. Bass extends very low when called upon, when not called upon they sound bright and...- ak711

Xears Thread (formerly TD III)
I've delayed writing a review due to a cold but to me its a wider sound, more airy and clear. N3i Darker more compressed sound Vocals aren't as crisp and are more sibilant Bass is more present and more boomy Midrange is slightly more recessed TD4 Vast difference in bass...- ak711

Xears Thread (formerly TD III)
I have had the TD4's for a few days now and they sound good. I am impressed with the cable and the build quality of these too. To me there is less driver flex and the housings seem pretty solid (same as the TDIII). Compared to the N3i, there is less bass but its tighter with shorter decay...- ak711

Impressions & Loaner Tour || TFTA-2100-2V1S
I think it should be noted these are VERY tip dependant. Even with excessive burn-in my XB's sounded so muffled and bass heavy. With the dual flange tips that came with the DUNU Tridents mid bass was lowered and there was a sparkle in the treble. Certainly there are better earphones out there...- ak711

Replacing my Monster Turbines
For £99 you can get the TFTA 1XB's. There arent too many reviews on it but it has head pounding bass with rich vocals and sparkling highs. Be warned though, they sound VERY different depending on the tips you use on them. With 60hours of burn in and the stock tips they sounded very muddy but i...- ak711

[REVIEW] TFTA 1XB IEMs (TFTA's flagship IEM)
Ive got about 50hours of burn in on these but something for me is missing in the vocals, other than that they isolate quite well and the bass is fantastic. WIll the vocals open up a bit more? EDIT: I changed to the bi-flange tips that came with my DUNU Tridents, the vocals are now...- ak711

£60-£100 to spend on a sturdy bass IEM
I got them today... Feck me the bass hurts :D There is a fair amount of driver flex but not as bad as the XEars. These are burning in, hopefully the clarity will come out soon. Although these are good, so far not £100 worth. @luco, what tips do you use?- ak711

£60-£100 to spend on a sturdy bass IEM
Thank you for the replys! Denon look the part (SQ wise) but i heard the cable is either too long or too short so im staying away. I was thinking about the hephaes but from the mega thread, i got the impression they arent much of a step up from the tridents. What are the differences? ...- ak711

£60-£100 to spend on a sturdy bass IEM
Hello Headfi! I thought id treat myself to a new pair of IEM's for Christmas but im not sure what to get. I like deep and powerful bass and listen to mainly Hip-Hop/Rap and a bit of Dubstep. I currently have the Dunu Tridents and they are brilliant for the price but i fancy...- ak711
