I listen to a lot of Jam band music. If you want to experience the more electronic side of jam music I would recommend STS9, Lotus, and Papadosio. They all use real instruments, so its not just djing, but they gravitate towards more electronic based sounds.

I live in Madison, I have the v-moda m80, Westone Um2, and Denon 5000 with the Lawton audio mod, but I dont have a good amp to power them with. They are low ohm so they work with out an amp, but with an amp its infinitely better.

You know your an audiophile when the guy across from you at the train station has a pair of Grado Sr80i and all you can think about is what amp he should be using to power them and all he is missing out on cause he is just using an Ipod.

Ya im starting to starting to lean towards the Yulong. I understand about the review, Project86 gives some of the best reviews around! Honestly any review would help. I've heard the same things about the volume knob, lots of people say its response is off.

The original Dacmagic used opamps as this website shows http://singlevalve.web.fc2.com/DacMagic/dacmagic.htm Idk about the Dacmagic+ and if it differs.  

The high impedance could be a problem for me because I have the Denon D5000 with lawton audio mod and they are only 25ohms. Wlvca, when you receive the Dacmagic+ could u post a short review on it including the amp, I would be very interested in what you have to say.   

Thank You Project86 I read your review on the Yulong D100 and it defiantly helped a lot. There is so little known about the Cambridge that it seems like a gamble to get, better to wait until there is a good review on it.

Does any one know how these two dac/amps compare? Both dacs are suppose to be excellent, but im also curious about the amp section.

Thanx, I was wondering how it compared directly to the yulong d100 because they both have excellent Dacs but i wonder how good the amp is in the dacmagic and how it compares to the yulong which is suppose to have a pretty good amp.
